One person, on purpose

bespokish is run by one person: Kenneth Keegan, a software engineer in West Covina. When you work with the studio, you work with the person who builds your site, answers your requests, and gets the alert if anything breaks at 3am. There is no account manager, no hand-offs, and no "let me check with the team".

The work behind this studio is the same work I do every day: building and running production web platforms, native mobile apps, and the infrastructure underneath them, from the design on the screen down to the servers, monitoring, and backups. The stack that runs your website is the same one that runs mine, watched by the same tools, held to the same standard.

I have spent 20+ years building for the web and for phones, with a computer science degree (Emory University) behind it and a range most engineers never get: consumer platforms with more than 50 million monthly visitors on one end, and small sites for individual businesses on the other. In between, I architected a video platform that processed close to a billion frames, built marketplaces where Stripe moves real money to real people, shipped iOS-first products, and spent years leading teams as a director of engineering.

bespokish points all of that at small businesses, with modern AI tooling doing the production work under my direction.

I treat every client site the way I treat my own, because in a real sense it is mine too: it represents me. Your site runs on the same infrastructure, the same monitoring, and the same standards as everything I build for myself, and if it breaks at 3am, my phone is the one that buzzes.

Being small is the feature. A one-person studio cannot take fifty clients, so it does not: every client gets a service that would be a rounding error at a big agency, priced at a flat monthly rate a small business can plan around.
