MFTC is a coaching business in West Covina. Members train at the center on a standing weekly schedule, book extra sessions and classes around it, and pay a monthly membership. Parents sign their kids up and run the whole thing from their own account.
All of that used to live inside an off-the-shelf fitness app that belonged to somebody else. This project replaced it with a platform MFTC owns: a public site, a back office, and native apps on both phones, built from scratch rather than migrated.
mftc.app is where it all lives.
A business running on software it did not own
Rented, not owned
The app members used was a generic product from another company. Nothing about it could be changed to fit how the training center actually runs, and none of it belonged to the business.
A schedule with real rules
Standing weekly times, class capacity, closures, cancellation windows: a coaching floor has scheduling rules that generic booking tools do not have a place to put.
Families, not just members
A parent needs to book for their children, pay for them, and see their schedule, without a separate login per kid and without their kids having their own accounts to manage.
One platform, built around how the floor runs
Everything below is one system: the same schedule, the same members and the same memberships, whether you reach them from a phone, a browser, or the coach's back office.
Booking, the way a coach schedules
Members book single sessions and classes, and hold standing weekly times. A standing schedule is requested by the member and confirmed by the coach, because a weekly slot on a busy floor is not something a member can simply take.
Family accounts
A parent adds their children, books and reschedules for each of them, and carries one membership for the family. The rules apply to the child; the charge goes to the parent.
Assessments and onboarding
New members are walked through waivers, health background and an athlete assessment before training starts, with the assessment booked and confirmed by email like any other session.
Memberships on the client's own Stripe
Monthly plans, card on file, and cancellations run through Stripe on MFTC's own account. Members pay MFTC directly; no money passes through this studio, by policy.
Native iPhone and Android apps
Real native apps on both platforms, not a website in a wrapper, sharing one codebase for the logic underneath. The iPhone app was approved in August 2026; both are in their stores now.
Browse before you sign up
The schedule and the membership tiers are visible without an account. The sign-in gate sits on the action, booking or subscribing, rather than on the front door, so a curious visitor can see what they would be joining.
One rate, the whole stack
Not six vendors and six invoices. The site, the apps and the machines underneath them are one engagement, built and looked after by one person. That is the Platform plan, and it is always scoped and quoted rather than picked off a shelf.

Live on both stores, and theirs to keep
MFTC's apps are published on the App Store and Google Play, the back office is what the coach uses to run the day, and the whole platform sits on infrastructure this studio deploys, monitors around the clock and backs up daily.
The part that matters most is the boring part. The Stripe account taking the members' money is MFTC's. The app store accounts publishing the apps are MFTC's. The domains, the content and the data are documented as theirs and move to accounts they control whenever they ask. Nothing about this platform is held hostage, which is the same promise every client here gets.
It is also not finished, because none of these are. New features ship into the same platform month after month, on the same flat monthly rate, without a new statement of work each time.
Does your business need all of that?
A platform like MFTC's is the Platform plan, the biggest thing this studio builds. Tell us how your business actually runs and we will tell you what it takes.
